The Hallelujah Picassos

Hallelujah Picassos are a reggae, rap, ska, punk, jazz, pop crossover band from Auckland. A popular live drawcard on the indie scene in the 1990s, they released two albums of genre-mashing mayhem before parting ways. The band came together again in 2013 with a handful of live shows with the likes of Drab Doo Riffs, Bloodbags, and Labretta Suede and the Motel 6. In 2019 they released a brand new album, Voices of Exuberant Hellhounds, on lovely black vinyl with the help of 1:12 Records. Now performing in a sound system style, their live show has the same energy and unpredictability as ever.
