Music in Parks 2022

Following the cancellation of remaining in-person Music in Parks events, Auckland Council is pleased to present a new online offering!

Starting Thursday 10 March at 8pm and dropping every Thursday for at least eight weeks, Aucklanders will be able to enjoy summer tunes at home.

Delivered in partnership with E Noho and Money for Jam the Facebook episodes will run 12 and 30 minutes respectively, and feature performances and interviews with a musician or band from the 2022 Music in Parks line-up - including Kendall Elise, Latinaotearoa, The Rvmes and Mema Wilda. ALSO just confirmed; Che Fu and King Kapisi! plus more to be announced. Follow Music in Parks on Facebook as we work to finalise details.

Thanks to charity partner, Music Helps, donations can be made online to support the music industry after the challenges of the last two and a half years.

Auckland Council are committed to supporting young and up-coming musical talent as part of being a UNESCO City of Music and the online offering allows this to continue under the Covid red-light settings. It also allows the musicians to be introduced to new audiences around Aotearoa.
