Dead Beat Boys

Led by James Fitz, with a very long mic lead in hand, Dead Beat Boys fuse punk intensity with classic rock riffs and perform a show that knows no stage boundaries.

Originally hailing from small-town Reporoa, founding member Fitz moved up to the big city and, itching to get back up on stage, formed a new line-up of Dead Beats.

They went on to release singles and music videos for songs Robotronic and 2, with funding from NZ On Air and the helpful oversight of ‘parole officer’ Jimmy Christmas (Luger Boa).

They’re showing no signs of slowing or quietening down.

They have one national tour under their belt (Three’s a Crowd with Bakers Eddy and Skelter), and numerous North Island tours, sharing stages with the likes of Kiwi rock alumni Luger Boa, Skinny Hobos, Ekko Park and Silence the City.

With an ever-growing fan base and a unique blend of punk-meets-rock n roll, Dead Beat Boys’ live shows are unmatched.
