Reggae artist Swiss was raised in Upper Hutt. He grew up honing his vocal skills, alongside his brothers, before getting into songwriting. His first song was recorded at age 14 in his bedroom studio.

Swiss quickly built an online fan-base releasing songs monthly. By age 19, Swiss was signed to New Zealand label Dawn Raid and went on to win two awards at the Vodafone Pacific Music Awards in 2013 (Best Pacific Male and People's Choice).

He topped New Zealand single and album charts with Slow Wind, Blue Bayou and If Tomorrow Never Comes.

Swiss now has his own independent record label and is working alongside artists of his own, nurturing their skills and providing a platform for them to showcase their talents.
