These artists are bringing a fresh taste of their homeland music and culture to their new Kiwi neighbourhoods. Mazbou-Q is a UK-born Nigerian hip hop artist and producer based in NZ with a prolific output of unique Afrocentric sounds.
Japanese rock/pop-influenced Sleepwalk Skeleton has a musical style that reflects the diversity of its members and their shared desire to honour the artistic genius behind their favourite music and anime.
Triplelan is a Kiwi Afro artist born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Music has always been his passion and he brings that passion to his live show of smooth Afro beats.
