We’ve paired two fantastic New Zealand acts for an afternoon of music in the sun. The reggae-based, jazz-influenced sound of Strangely Arousing has led this band on an odyssey around the world. Their music reflects the tastes and talents of five guys performing over 12 instruments with an energy that holds nothing back.

The DeSotos are bringing their blend of roots-based Americana and country blues to Bledisloe Park. With a sound that spans the spectrum from gin-soaked ballads through to southern country rockers, this is authentic New Zealand roots-rock music played with conviction.

Jarni Blair was brought up by a creative family where he developed a passion for music. Learning to sing and play guitar at age ten, he performed in bands throughout his school years - transitioning into solo performance and song writing. Inspired by his father’s record collection and modern artists, Jarni’s writing style is influenced by The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jeff Beck, John Mayer, Ed Sheeran and many others.
