The Rvmes

The RVMES (pronounced 'rooms for the confused) is an Auckland band known for its enthusiastic lean into interesting genre blends.

Led by indie alternative rock influences, the band takes inspiration from The Doors, Khruangbin, Latin grooves, classic roots reggae – you name it and they'll give it a spin.

In its first year, the band cut its teeth by releasing a seriously organic self-titled EP recorded in a rickety garage.

Following through with lessons learned, The RVMES fired up five singles, three successful tours around Aotearoa, released a documentary for its latest album and tour 'Lifetime', and even had its title track chosen for KFC's 50th anniversary campaign – finger lickin' good, just like The RVMES' live set.
