Strangely Arousing

Having already lasted longer than most modern marriages, one might describe Strangely Arousing as ‘trans genre’, and comfortably so. Their reggae-based, jazz-influenced sound has led them to play for a range of audiences – from CubaDupa to Rhythm and Vines, non-stop tours around New Zealand and international adventures in the Middle East and Asia. The band’s music reflects the musical tastes and talents of five guys performing over 12 instruments, dipped through the on-stage Dub FX rig and played with an energy that holds nothing back.
