French for Rabbits

Led by the soft, smoky voiced Brooke Singer, pop band French for Rabbits, have been pioneers of atmospheric, delicate dream-pop in New Zealand for six years (taking cues from Cloudboy before them).

They create some of New Zealand’s most hauntingly beautiful music.

Their live shows often feature humour, sideways charm and unexpected tangents.

They’re described as able to make a concert hall feel like a living room.

The band has toured their ethereal dream pop extensively through Europe and had a handpicked opening spot with Lorde on her New Zealand Melodrama tour.

Their second album – The Weight of Melted Snow – was released to high praise in New Zealand.
