Mitch James

Kiwi singer-songwriter Mitch James’ journey has taken him from busking and sleeping rough through to topping charts with his acoustic pop.

Being the unpopular kid at school led to Mitch locking himself up with a guitar and learning to play the songs of Ben Harper, Jack Johnson and Ed Sheeran which have inspired his music since.

His debut No Fixed Abode achieved number one on Spotify’s Viral Chart, and has since had more than five million streams. In December 2016 Move On achieved number one for New Zealand airplay and number two in the Spotify Viral Chart. Its since had 1.2 million plus streams on Spotify.

His live performances include Rhythm and Vines and Bay Dreams, as well as his 2017 Humble Roadie Tour.
