Jed Parsons

Jed Parsons has toured extensively playing solo and with various projects (Jed & Hera, House of Mountain and Odyssey) throughout New Zealand, America, Iceland, the Philippines and Australia. He’s a multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter playing a unique mix of indie and pop.

Some of his influences are: Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Neil Young, Damien Rice, Outkast, Grizzly Bear, The Beatles, Douglas Ross and Mac Demarco.

At 25, Jed has appeared at festivals around the world, headlined tours and played alongside some of New Zealand and Australia’s prominent indie acts (Clap Clap Riot, Racing, Cheap Fakes, Hans Pucket, Gareth Thomas, Doprah, Jordie Lane).

Jed’s live set balances eccentricity and energy with intimacy and musical sensitivity; his songs crafted from sing-along hooks, groove and lyrical weight.
