Clap Clap Riot

Sure to set the crowd on fire with their hooky tunes and wild vocals, this heady Indie band is getting quite a reputation, here and overseas, for their energetic songwriting and magnetic live shows.

Originally hailing from Christchurch, Clap Clap Riot - their band name supposedly comes from the applause machine used on the UK music show Top of the Pops - is gearing up to release their third album; their first two records were both nominated for Music Awards at the VNZMAs.

The Herald placed Nobody/Everybody at number 8 in the top 30 albums of the year. Clap Clap Riot has played alongside 1975 and at The Big Day Out, Rhythm n Vines and Splore.
