Australian music blog Ear To The Ground recently described Ciaran as “Adam Levine’s earthy, indie cousin”.
His honesty makes him stand apart from the pack, with heartfelt lyrics and a smooth voice, lending themselves perfectly to a strong emotional sound that is hard to ignore.
Last year Ciaran took part in Songhubs Auckland which puts together three of the world’s best songwriters with some of our most promising home-grown talent for five days of intensive song-writing.
Ciaran worked with Sacha Scarbeck (Adele, James Blunt, Lana Del Ray) and Mozella (Madonna, Rihann, Ellie Goulding).
With his fusion of acoustic pop and folk sounds, clever lyrics and memorable melodies, Ciaran may well be NZ’s next big cultural export. And you heard him here.
